Let's marvel at the wonders of voice acted cutscenes. I remember the first RPG I played which had spoken dialogue. I was horrified. Have problems figuring out which one? Subtract two from the game which Basch is from. After horrid experiences with it I became very picky with voice acting and started playing games only in Japanese because I didn't want to feel as if I had to redeem myself after playing it. Harsh as it sounds, perhaps you can call me a "picky person". My favorite version of Final Fantasy XII is actually the Japanese version because it sounds more natural. The English version isn't bad, but after listening to a few lines in the game you know that the accents are fake. The only game I know of that has authentic accents is Dragon Quest VIII. But still, the fact that there's accents was a bit weird for me. It was exciting at first, but the more I listened to it the more odd it was? Imagine if the Japanese version had Al-Cid speaking in Kansai-ben or something.

"omae no toi ni kotaeru no ga.... anitoshite no tsutomedana / I will answer your question...as it is my duty as your brother". This was said before the final fight against Gabranth in the Sky Fortress Bahamut.

"Ikite... tsugunaundana / live...and atone". In the English version this line was "Then live. And reclaim it." This is probably my favorite line in the entire game. The quote was said during the cutscene after the final fight against Garanth.
