How did this site come to be? Well i never really developed an interest in the series until i saw a very tiny promo picture of it in a magazine. My first 'encounter' with this series would probably when i was searching for a new game at a store. I saw the cover for "Soul Edge" (which was at a very low price at that time) and i thought the guy on the cover looked ridiculous. As you can see i am wrong. After a while i decided to look random things up about the series on the internet, but i never had a specific interest for Mitsurugi until Winter 2001. I still don't know why i am drawn to this character because when i play the game i never choose Mitsurugi. I usually end up choosing Xianghua, Hwang/Yunsung, or Seung Mina. Perhaps it is my fascination of"historical things". Yes i know i'm a geek and i admit i'm a geek too. Don't blame me for it. Oh, one more geeky comment, this site is OLD. MADE BEFORE SCII CAME OUT! I was obessing over SCII BEFORE it was released in Japan. I find it funny how there's alot of newer Soul Calibur sites out since the release of SCII. Sad isn't it?
About the research i've done for this site. It could be more comprehensive, but it's just that i don't need to hand this site in for homework so this is all you get. Additional information will be added as i comprehend more of it. Sad how i research for things for fun while people research the same thing to get marks in school.

Autumn Requiem, if you haven't noticed, is the name of this sodden site. I named the site after the "fanciest named" move Mitsurugi has. If you think about it, i really don't feel like explaining, the name has some sort of significance to samurais.

Layout Information
Right now it's December 2003 and the last time i updated this site was who knows when. So, i decided to update this darn thing! I still love the site, it's just that there isn't much information out there, nor do i own any of the games (seriously). I finally got that "inspirational push" to make the layout when i saw previews for the Last Samurai. A movie which features Tom Cruise, Ken Watanabe, and several other well known Japanese actors who's names i can't seem to recall at this moment. So yes, imagine a girl obessing over a movie for 5 months and when she finally watches it when her exams were over at school.. BAM. Well, another reason why i updated the site after the release of the movie is because due to the popularity of the movie more samurai information is emerging all over the internet. I've worked for serveral hours researching and writing about what i read. The layout came AFTER the researching, thus the reason why the layout isn't that flashy. The layout is darker than most of my layouts isn't it? Let's call it... Fukai Mori. A song by Do as Infinity. I've always wanted to name a layout Fukai Mori... "boku-tachi wa samayoi nagara ikite yuku doko made mo furikaeru michi wo tozashi aruite'ku eien ni"
