» Initial D Live Action Movie
A live action adaptation of the Initial D series is currently being filmed in Japan by the directors Johnnie To and Wai Ka Fai, who are also known for directing the Infernal Affairs trilogy. The original director was Tsui Hark, however he abandoned the project due to disagreements with the film company. The movie is in Cantonese and was filmed in Japan.
