Tsugumi: Tsugumi is one of the few people whom Ryosuke feels relaxed when he talks to them. Although she may be a minor character, she plays a huge role in Ryosuke's life for he talks to Tsugumi about things he tends not to tell other people. For example in Vol.4 of the manga, after a famous professional racing team from Tokyo who are known for breaking multiple records at the Fuji Speedway invited Ryosuke into their team after noticing Ryosuke's records in every amateur competition he's been to. Ryosuke declined this offer claiming that he amateur driving is more for him and that professional racing tends to become corrupted when money becomes involved. After declining the offer, Ryosuke had to pick Tsugumi up from school, and during the car ride to his house Ryosuke basically explained to Tsugumi why he turned down the offer without Tsugumi knowing about the offer which was given to Ryosuke. For those who haven't aquired Vol.4, Ryosuke turned down the offer because of he had to live up to his fathers expectations, to become a doctor, and the corruption of the professional racing world. It was basically a conflict between what he wants and wanted.

Keisuke Takahashi: Ryosuke usually tends to talk to Keisuke more than anyone else in the series. Keisuke usually tends to look up to Ryosuke, typically the younger brother looking up to the older brother for advice thing. For more information please visit Euphoric Blitz

Shuichi Matsumoto: Being the spokesperson for the Redsuns it is inevitable that Shuichi and Ryosuke are good friends. Away from his brother, Ryosuke appears to be more social with Shuichi than with his other team mates.

Takumi Fujiwara: Ryosuke has a great interest in Takumi, probably because Takumi is now the one who holds the undefeated title like he had in the past. Even though Ryosuke lost to Takumi, Ryosuke is more than willing to help Takumi expand in his driving skills. Ryosuke also invited Takumi to join Project D because he saw potential in his racing skills. Ryosuke also likes to compare Takumi's driving and learning style to Keisuke's.

Kyouchii Sudou: Ryosuke has known Kyouchii since his 'Akagi's White Comet' days. He raced Kyouchii twice. The first time was during his 'White Comet' era and Ryosuke made a promise that he would someday race again with Kyouchii. The second race took place during the Redsuns era. Ryosuke does admit that he doesn't like Kyouchii but he has the ability to tolerate his presence. He's more of an acquaintance than a friend.
