± The Hokages
In the world of Naruto, in each region there is a Kage : Hokage, Mizukage, Raikage, Kazekage, and Tsuchikage. A kage is the strongest ninja in the village and is also in charge of many things such as choosing the appropriate missions for other ninjas. What makes the Kages different than the other ninjas is that the younger generations are inspired by them, and they have to be strong in no matter what situation they are in. Some may even make the ultimate sacrifice, that is they are willing to put their lives ahead of others.


Yondaime happens to be the Fourth Hokage of the Hidden Village of Konoha. Here is a list of Konoha's past and present Hokage including those who are connected to them. One thing to notice is that Hokages are usually trained by previous Hokages or of students of previous Hokages.

Konoha's Hokages

	Shodai & Nidaime's Team Shodai and Nidaime, the first and second Hokage, taught Sandaime and the two others later become top members of the Konoha village whose role is to assist the Hokage. It's not "ichidaime" as i've written before, but it's not pronounced "ichi". In kanji it's written 初代目. So it's "shodaime".
	Sandaime's Team Sandaime's the third hokage, team consists of the three Legendary Ninjas who are known as Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and, the future Godaime, Tsunade. All three of Sandaime's students have a chance of becoming hokage however Sandaime chose not to have Orochimaru to be the Yondaime and Jiraiya had refused his invitation to become Godaime.
	Orochimaru & Anko Orochimaru abandoned Anko from his tutelage because he thought that she lacked talent. She, however, later becomes a Chuunin examiner and like Sasuke, Orochimaru also gave her a curse seal on the neck.
	Jiraiya's Team The only known member of Jiraiya's team was Yondaime. Later on in the series, Jiraiya also has Naruto under his tutelage.
	Yondaime's team Yondaime's team consists of Naruto's Team 7 teacher, Hatake Kakashi, Uchiha Obito, and Rin!
	Kakashi's Team #7 Team #7 consists of Konoha's number one genius, Uchiha Sasuke, Konoha's shrewdest child, Haruno Sakura, and the number one ninja in suprising people, Uzumaki Naruto. One reason why Sandaime would have Kakashi be under the supervision of Naruto's team is because Kakashi would not take advantage of the power of the Kyuubi within Naruto's body.
	Godaime Jiraiya and Naruto were sent to persuit to Tsunade and to ask her to become the next Hokage after Sandaime's death. After much persuasion, Tsunade eventually gives in. Like Jiraiya, Tsunade takes Sakura, one of Kakashi's students, under her tutelage.
