The Chuunin exam ends and Kakashi realizes that Kabuto is a Sound spy. He also hands Naruto over to Ebisu while he personally trains Sasuke. As the Chuunin exam continues, Sasuke is late for his match and it is posponed. When the match between Gaara and Sasuke started it was later interupted by the invasion of Sand and Sound ninjas. Orochimaru unveils himself to Sandaime and they also participate in the battle. Kakashi sends Shikamaru, Naruto, Sakura, and his summon Pakkun to persue Sasuke and Gaara. A funeral for Sandaime and the other ninjas who have died in battle follows.
