There are two sides to Seishirou's personality. The friendly Seishirou or the Sakurazukamori assassin Seishirou.
In public, he appears to be a very outgoing, flirty, humorous, benevolent kind of guy. Even Subaru and Hokuto couldn't tell that he was the Sakurazukamori until it was too late. He was like nothing a Sakurazukamori would be like. In other words, he's a good actor.
The darker side of Seshirou appears while in battle. Seishiriou was raised to preceive people to be like a normal object such as a glass cup so when he was to kill someone, it would be just another normal thing to do. When in battle, Seishirou gives no mercy to his victims, nor does he care who the victim was. He was basically the 'perfect assassin' except for one thing. He, like everyone else, has emotions.
For the bet which took place in Tokyo Babylon, Seishirou was to fall in love with Subaru. If in the end he loved him, Subaru would live, if he didn't Subaru would be killed. When Seishirou first met Subaru, Subaru was only a young child. The reason why Seishirou let Subaru go after witnessing a murder by the Sakurazukamori was because Subaru was only a innocent child and he appeared to be pure. By tradition, if any witnesses are to be found while the Sakurazukamori was doing their work they were to be killed. For not killing, not only does Seishirou prove that he's a failure at being the Sakurazukamori, it also proves that he has emotion. The second act which proves Seishirou's failure was him not being able to kill Subaru in X and that ultimately leads him to his death.
As Sakurazukamori assasins are to be raised to be emotionless. Seishirou Sakurazuka may claim to be a 'good Sakurazukamori', however he has a weakness. Like the weakness of the previous Sakurazukamori, his mother, he is not entirely emotionless. Although he may seem to lack compassion and no matter how inert his emotions are he, and all other people, is succeptable to falling inlove or just simply caring for a person.
