Not much is known about the past of Seishirou Sakurazuka however, there is enough information to speculate what happened.
Seishirou was born in Kanazawa, Japan. He most likely did not live with his parents because if he did he would most likely grow attached to them rendering him the inability to become a 'perfect assassin'. It is almost certain that Seishiriou grew up in extreme hard conditions because by the age of nine when he first met his mother, who resides in Tokyo, he lacked compassion, love and motivation to meet his mother. However, he did admit that his mother was beautiful. It is not known whether Seishirou met his father, where he currently resides, or wether he is still alive. Again, like his mother, Seishirou never thought of wanting to meet his father. Then again why would he? His father isn't even the predecessor of the Sakurazukamori.
One winter when he was fifteen, by his mother's wishes, Seishirou killed his mother and at the same time became the next Sakurazukamori.
Before his mother passed on,
she told Seishirou that she was happy to be killed by the one she loved and Seishirou, in the future, will also be the one whom he loved the most.
