Saddened by the death of his sister and the betrayal of his dear friend Seishirou, Subaru decided to quit school and dedicate all his time to become a better onmyouji. To prove that his existance should not be underestimated. He wanted to prove to Seishirou that he could also kill. He wanted to kill Seishirou.
Several years later in Tokyo while nearing the end of the world, Seishirou once again meets up with Subaru but this time both are a representative of the two groups which would greatly affect the future of the world. Subaru was part of the Dragon of Heaven which believed that the world should stay the same. Seishirou belonged to the Dragon of Earth which believes that all humanity should be destroyed so the world can restore itself from corruption.
During this time Seishirou would be considered one of the more active Dragon of Earth before Fuuma's awakening. When Fuuma finally awakened as the Kamui of the Dragon of Earth, Seishirou had the opportunity to spend some time with him. Their friendship may have only lasted one trip to a crepe shoppe however this friendship mirrored the friendship of Subaru and Kamui of the Dragon of Heavaen.
