‡ THE LAST DAY
Seishirou's last day resulted from a fight between him and Subaru. After the loss of Subaru's right eye due to Fuuma's wish granting schemes, in awe to see how hard Subaru had tried to become a person who could kill, Seishirou granted what he thought would be Subaru's wish. A wish quite different from his own. Seishirou attacked Subaru the same way he had attacked Hokuto several years earlier but instead of harming Subaru, Hokuto's curse was put into action. The attack was reflected on to Seishirou. Subaru's hand was now through Seishirou's chest. The prediction Seishirou's mother made was true. Seishirou did in fact happened to be killed by the one who he cared for the most.
After Seishirou's explanation of Hokuto's curse and the haunting final last words surely impacted Subaru in a great way. Due to Seishirou's actions, since Subaru was the one who killed Seishirou physically, Subaru was now to become the new Sakurazukamori.
Shortly after his death, the Kamui of the Dragon of Earth somehow retrieved Seishirou's left eye after the wreckage and offered it to Subaru. If Subaru was to accept the eye, he would become a Dragon of Earth and finalize the fact that he is now the Sakurazukamori.
Subaru accepted the eye.
