I'm a Cardcaptor too:pWritten by Stacey Anne (the past 'About' and 'Opinion' page combined): Be All Right is a site I've been working on for quite some time. It has received many face-lifts and name changes, but very rarely went through content. I finally got off my rear recently (the summer of 2002) and wrapped it up.

I've done my best to give credit where it is due on each individual page, but the real disclaimer has yet to be said:

I do not consider myself to be a fan of "cute"; although it is certainly a word I use often, it is not a genre I typically lean toward. At the same time, I absolutely adore Cardcaptor Sakura; not only that, but I adore its young star: Sakura.

The reason I find Cardcaptor Sakura so appealing is because it is not just about magic and romance as most stereotypical shoujo series are. It is actually charming. Sakura is not a lovesick teenager who happens to wear frilly cloths and fight off "bad guys"; she is a child, and she thinks like a child. She may be saving the world, but she will stop at nothing to make her family and friends happy. Likewise, while most young heroines are swooning over their mysterious rivals, Sakura struggles with her first crush. It is endearing to watch her grow up as the series progresses, all the while maintaining a level of innocence as only a little girl can.

And just look at that face! How could you say no to that?

Written by Chloe : I think most people would be more interested in the reason why I took over Be All Right, but firstly i would like to write about what Kinomoto Sakura means to me. You may have read on a few of my sites that i was spoon fed while watching anime as a child. I lost interest in manga and anime as i was growing up however one of friends decided to revive my like for it. Card Captor Sakura was something I really enjoyed watching during that time. That may seem contradictory if you knew what genre of anime/manga i like. However after all the eye gouging and impalements, i think anyone would want something 'lighter'. Fortunately, Card Captor Sakura did the job. I'm also one of those people who enjoys "love stories". Although Card Captor Sakura involves significantly younger people than what i'm used to, this specific series did the job to make me bawl. To tell you the truth, i enjoy Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle more than i did Card Captor Sakura.

Why did i take over this site? Because the world must be saved from Stacey Anne's deletion of her CLAMP sites. Since i wasn't able to save Tragedy #13 (even though i particularly do not have a certain fondness for Sumeragi Subaru), i saved this one. The End.
