If a manga is popular and the storyline is good, it is usually made into an anime. Inuyasha was first broadcasted in anime form in 2000 by Sunrise. Currently there has been more than one hundred and fifty episodes released. The english version of the anime is, like the manga, produced by Viz.

Compared to the manga, the anime includes alot of 'filler' episodes which don't run along the manga's storline. A few filler episodes has been based on Sesshoumaru and his companions which explains a few unexplained things in the manga such as 'Why does Jaken follow Sesshoumaru around' and 'What happened to Sesshoumaru after his arm was severed in the begining of the anime'.

Here is a list of episodes which Sesshoumaru has appeared in. Short summaries and screencaps will be added at a later date. I realize that i may be behind by a few/many episodes so please bare with me.
