+ Battle
Like most of the characters from the Inuyasha series, Sesshoumaru also fights. Unlike the others, Sesshoumaru's fighting style is smooth, fast, and articulate. According to Jaken, Sesshoumaru produces a large amount of Jaki. In both the manga and the anime you may notice that demons usually don't intefere with him because of this, thus Sesshoumaru is usually the one who starts the fights. Sesshoumaru's victims are usually the things that are obstructing him and his objectives. He also believes that oppoenents who have a strong will to live are the most worthy fighting against.
Wisdom - By observing the way Sesshoumaru fights, it seems as if he's fought many battles in the past. He never struggles about which move to make and his mind is always cool even during the climax of a battle.
Speed - Although he may seem to be always on a stroll when not in battle, however whenever Sesshoumaru dodges, jumps, or manoevers around the battle field when needed he will move faster than what a human eye can see. This usually shocks an opponent when he or she has not witnessed Sesshoumaru in battle.
Levitation - In addition to speed, Sesshoumaru also has the ability to levitate in the air. He can aloso incorporate his speed as he is hoving in the air while he is dodging random object thrown at him during battle
Sword - The two swords Sesshoumaru may use in battle would be the Tokujin and the Tensaiga. The Tokujin was made of the fangs of an oni, Goshinki, who had successfuly bit apart the Tessaiga. The Tensaiga is a sword for healing, thus it is not used in battle as often unless Sesshoumaru is fighting a creature of the dead or when killed or severely injured in battle he would use it to revive or heal him. In other words, he's immortal.
Dokkasu [ Toxic Flower Claw ] - Sesshoumaru finds that using claws during a melee fight like Inuyasha does is rather immature, so he finds another use for them. His claws happen to be bioihazardous. Dokkasu is like a rachargable battery (the ones that never dies when recharged a few too many times). It needs to be "charged up" before it is used and after it is "charged up" it can be used many times in battle. Before Sesshoumaru uses dokkasu his hands emits a green aura and before he attacks he shouts "DOKKASU!!!". Dokkasu is a very strong poison which can melt through almost anything. By having this ability, it is most likely the reason why Sesshoumaru is immune to poisons.
The Whip - When needed, Sesshoumaru uses a whip like weapon which appears from his index and middle fingers. Sesshoumaru usually uses this when fighting against many enemies or while fighting long range. It is unknown whether or not this whip is breakable, however it is known that the whip can withstand and repel bullets. The whip is also strong enough to break swords in half. Please note that Sesshoumaru's whip only appears in the anime.
Left Arm - After Sesshoumaru's first encounter with Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru lost use of his left arm. In place of the missing arm, Sesshoumaru is now able to attach any arm of his liking onto himself, however almost all demon arms he had used has been rejected by his body. Thus, Sesshoumaru can only use a replacement arm temporarily. Having a replacement arms sometimes can be a positive factor, especially in battle. For example the claw of a dragon which Sesshoumaru used in attempt to destroy the Tessaiga.
Fur - The piece of fur which sesshoumaru hulls aroun on his right shoulder can be used for multiple purposes. It can be used to sleep on, as a fashion statement, or in battle. Sesshoumaru doesn't use his fur often in battle. To be exact, he's only used it once in both the manga and the anime. In the manga, Sesshoumaru uses his fur to knock the Tessaiga out of Inuyasha's hand during their second encounter and in the anime Sesshoumar uses his fur to wrap around Inuyasha's body in a rope like fashion during their first fight whic occured in their father's tomb.
