+ The Seiyuu (the voice actor)
The Japanese voice actor for Sesshoumaru is Narita Ken. Compared to the other seiyuus of the Japanese version of Inuyasha, Narita Ken's voice for Sesshoumaru is, well very manly but in a way it is also soothing for Sesshoumaru's personality, however he also encorporates a certain strict and sterness in his voice. Other roles which Narita Ken played in the past include...

X the Movie - Monou Fuma
Fushigi Yuugi - Kagibara Tetsuya
Scrapped princess - Leonard
Detective Conan - Etoh, Muraki
Tatakae! Chou Robot Seimeitai Transformers - Construction Robo
Tatakae! Chou Robot Seimeitai Transformers (Day of the Machines) - Hound

The English voice actor for Sesshoumaru happens to be David Kaye. Compared to Narita Ken, David Kaye's voice acting for Sesshoumaru is rather different. Well of course the script is a tad bit different, but the calmness in Sesshoumaru's voice is portrayed differently by David Kaye but is also as enjoyable as Narita Ken's voice acting. If the name David Kaye doesn't ring a bell, just read his previous anime voice acting roles and you'll most likely recognize a few of them.
